beaytiful location and great ambience. Fantastic food !
You cannot go for a walk as the road infront is not wide enough to walk safely and you cannot access the sea and grasslands

Charming Stay with Amazing Views
As a solo traveler, I enjoyed a serene night enveloped by the beauty of coastal Clifden. The warm bar area, complemented by a crackling log fire, created a cozy atmosphere. Don't miss the seafood chowder. It's a must-try! For breakfast, consider opting for local cafes for a more flavorful start.

The hotel is very relaxing and certainly lives up to its 3 stars. The staff were fantastic, nothing was to much trouble. It was my first time in Ireland, I shall certainly be returning. The food was great, the chef very creative and great to experience the very finest local and home grown produce. The whole family really know how to look after you...a great experience. Thank you all

Warm welcome with complimentary cake upon arrival.
I was appalled at the lack of water pressure in the shower . One moment the water was scalding hot, then it went ice cold-impossible to get a decent shower in the morning! Added to this, the receptionist's dismissive attitude while handling my checkout was intolerable. He showed no interest in a guest's experience despite my frustration. This was not what I expected from a hotel that charges premium rates.

Good 3 star hotel with decent restaurant, nice service
Wine list seems a bit expensive, limited choice in lower price range

Quiet, romote
I feel it is over priced for what is on offer, Many of the restaurants in Clifden offer vastly superior food for less money

I was quite displeased with my stay, the shower water fluctuated from boiling hot to freezing cold, aboslutely unacceptable! Even worse, the dining was lacking freshness, certainly not what i expected for such a high price. I should have received a complimentary upgrade for all my trouble but no one seemed to care enough to even offer. What a letdown.

The food was delicious and it was so easy to go into the town of Clifden or Roundstone or Carna. A great centrally located hotel away from the "city" yet close enough when you felt the need. Loved it!

Stephane, Monique and the lady that served us breakfast and dinner were fantastic for our whole trip! Really made it so personal and enjoyable. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. The food in Ardagh is fantastic, Monique has a gift! The hotel is easy to find and perfect for a relaxing break.
